The StreamHub is an AI-powered streaming discovery platform available at thestreamhub.app.

Information We Collect
- Email address and username when you create an account
- Profile picture if you upload one
- Streaming service preferences you select
- Watchlist (movie and TV show IDs you save)
- Ratings and reviews you submit
- Usage data and device info (browser type, screen size)
- Sports predictions you make
- Favourite sports teams you follow
Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate The StreamHub service
- To personalise your experience (AI picks, For You, Watch Tonight)
- To sync your watchlist and ratings across devices
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send account-related emails (receipts, password resets)
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and database storage
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI features (Mood Search, Watch Tonight, For You)
- TMDB — movie and TV show data
- ESPN API — live sports scores and news
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
- Resend — transactional email delivery
We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to save your preferences, subscription selections, and session data between visits. We use cookies set by Supabase for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. California residents have rights under CCPA including the right to know what data is collected and the right to deletion. EU and UK users have additional GDPR rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@thestreamhub.app or delete your account directly from Profile > Settings.
Children's Privacy
The StreamHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@thestreamhub.app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
